Regent Street - Superdry

Pexhurst has risen to the challenge of working right in the heart of London in this high-quality refurbishment of three office floors above fashion retailer Superdry’s flagship store on one of London’s busiest commercial centres – Regent Street.

Client:

Superdry

Project Manager:

JLL

Location:

103-113 Regent Street, London W1

Value:

£670,000

Programme:

13 weeks

With street closures in this part of London a definite no-no, Pexhurst has had to deal with the logistical challenge of getting materials onto the site, including the rooftop-mounted condensers for the cooling system. With the lifts and stairwells the only option, the team opted for equipment that could be dismantled and reassembled once in position.

As main contractor, Pexhurst has overseen all trade subcontractors on this high-spec refurbishment. Existing office space has been stripped out and replaced, including a new m&e installation, power and lighting. The client has called for a high quality of fixtures and the new design brings much needed height and light onto the open-plan office floors by opting for contemporary, industrial exposed services which provide a neat contrast to the white ceilings. The look is complemented by oak veneer flooring.

As well as the new office spec, the project included a refurbishment of existing WC areas, with new toilets added alongside. Again, high spec is the order of the day, with slate flooring and high quality lighting and units.

A high-class refurbishment from Pexhurst in one of London’s prime commercial centres.
