A collection of office buildings near London’s Canary Wharf, Harbour Exchange offers broad, piazza-style spaces, softened by trees, plants and water features. Made up of nine buildings, each with its own reception, the estate is home to a diverse mix of occupiers. Pexhurst is currently refurbishing many of the office floors at the ten-storey 3 Harbour Exchange, which was originally built in the 1980s.
In a challenging 16-week programme, Pexhurst is carrying out a full Category A refurbishment of floors 5, 6, 7 and 8 as well as revamping the reception area and WCs and common areas of floors 5 to 10. The £1.9 million contract will see the installation of new air conditioning, lighting, raised access floors and metal ceiling tiles.
Pexhurst is in close liaison with building managers to ensure that there is minimal disruption to tenants and Pexhurst will be ensuring that the programme runs smoothly through out-of-hours and weekend working where necessary.
Building refurbishment is due to complete in Feb 2015.
