Pexhurst was appointed to carry out refurbishment works to six warehouses located in Paddock Wood, Kent.
A new Bauder Total Roofing System (BTRS) was installed to all six units. Internal works to the warehouse comprised installing new LED lighting throughout and laying new resin flooring.
Due to no gas being on site, works to the office areas also consisted of the installation of new radiators powered by new heat source pumps.
Full decoration was carried out throughout the offices including new carpets, modernising the WC through the installation of all new sanitaryware and cubicles, as well as the installation of new LED lighting and Armstrong ceiling.
An incoming global logistics company had confirmed their plans to occupy three of the six units shortly before project completion. With their move-in date just one week after we planned to hand it over, we had to accommodate their fit-out contractors into our programmed works.
Ensuring that the tenant’s programmed works were not impacted during this period took careful planning, communication and collaboration not only with our client, Logicor, but also the global logistic company and their appointed fit out contractor.
Carrying out resin floor works to the warehouses after-hours to avoid any dust contamination is a case in point.
