Pexhurst has recently completed the fit-out and refurbishment of The University of Hertfordshire’s Law block.
This large D&B project involved demolishing and converting existing lecture theatres to provide offices and faculty facilities including break-out areas and common space.
Solid walls were replaced with glazed partitioning (including ventilation dampers to reduce energy costs), data cabling, AV, joinery, feature ceilings, general decorations, store wall installation.
As instructed by the client, the programme took place over a 12 week period.
Working on this busy, occupied campus involved noise restrictions and phased works owing to the continuation of studies and examination timetables outside of our site demise.
