Pexhurst recently hosted a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) morning in partnership with Level Best Concrete Flooring and Eden Sustainable. The event took place at Uncommon Liverpool Street and featured informative sessions on Industrial Flooring and Solar PV technology.
The morning commenced with a warm welcome and registration at 8:00am, followed by breakfast, providing attendees with an opportunity to network and connect with like-minded professionals from various sectors.
Level Best delivered the first CPD session on Industrial Flooring. Industry experts shared their knowledge and insights on the latest advancements in industrial flooring techniques. The Q&A session that followed allowed attendees to engage directly with the experts, deepening their understanding and addressing queries about the potential for industrial flooring to transform a space.
Eden Sustainable then took the stage to present a CPD session on Solar PV technology, providing a snapshot of its applications and benefits for sustainability and energy efficiency. The session shed light on how construction businesses can adopt renewable energy practices to create a greener and more efficient sector.
A post-event survey revealed that the attendees highly appreciated the in-person format of the event. The respondents provided feedback that they found face-to-face interactions and networking opportunities during in-person events more valuable than virtual alternatives, highlighting the importance of physical gatherings in creating professional connections and exchanging knowledge.
One attendee commented, “I thought the morning was excellent. It was well organised with interesting and relevant CPD topics, and good refreshments were provided.”
