Pexhurst bags Best Contractor Marketing Campaign at The Construction Marketing Awards

Following our attendance at the Construction Marketing Awards (CMAs), Pexhurst, are delighted to announce that we have won the Best Contractor Marketing Campaign Award, as well as the Best Budget Campaign Award for our 45th Anniversary campaign.

The awards, hosted by acclaimed comedian Paul McCaffrey, were announced during the prestigious Gala on 1st December 2022 at the Hilton at Bankside, Central London. Fully endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group, the CMAs showcase the construction industry’s creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing. The Awards have 29 categories, judged by a panel with marketing and commercial expertise, as well as experience of the construction industry. Pexhurst’s team were delighted to take home both the ‘Contractor Marketing Campaign’ and ‘Best Budget Campaign (<£25k)’ awards in recognition of its 45th Anniversary campaign.

In partnership with marketing agency Fabrick, Pexhurst produced a multi-channel marketing strategy which reflected both its business objectives and morals in celebration of the last 45 years. The campaign reflected our values and pillars: Experienced, Progressive, Approachable and Dependable, whilst strengthening our brand positioning, delivering a visually appealing campaign across all platforms.

Commenting on the innovative campaign, judges stated, “from insight generation through to exceptional measurement, this campaign is outstanding. It’s a great example of a well-thought out, well-executed campaign which has created outstanding results and an incredible ROI”.

The campaign comprised of several innovative marketing initiatives such as a creative mural highlighting our key milestones, as well as staff’s 10-year anniversary dates, a promotional video celebrating the Pexhurst team, and a roundtable discussion including building surveyors, architects and asset managers from the relevant sectors, on the topic of ‘Refurb and Reuse vs Demolition and Rebuild’.

As a result of the campaign, Pexhurst saw new business opportunities, increased engagement on social media, increased traffic to the website and multiple thought-leadership pieces in quality trade publications, resulting in a fantastic return on investment.
