Pexhurst secured this project at this busy retail destination, via a competitive tender process. The project was carefully planned from an on-site logistics perspective, due to high customer footfall in the Friary Retail shopping centre.
This project comprised of the refurbishment of the public facilities which included fully upgrading all new ceilings, flooring and wall finishes.
M&E installation inclusive of new sanitaryware, ventilation, lighting and a sprinkler system was also added.
A Changing Places fully accessible toilet was installed. This being the first one to be installed in Guildford!
Changing Places facilities are designed to be completely accessible whilst being able to provide sufficient space and equipment for people who are not able to use the toilet independently.
