Pexhurst were appointed to carry out refurbishment works to this modern warehouse totalling 12,612 Sq. ft. In Stevenage, a major commercial centre located 30 miles north of central London.
The client requirements were to refurbish the warehouse and offices as the previous tenant’s lease had come to an end. The end goal was to get the units ready for the NHS, who were in the unit next door which will enable them to combine the units.
External works included installing a new Tata roofing system as well as replacing and cleaning the cladding. The doors and windows were all resprayed, and an eco-drainage system installed in the car park.
Internal works to the warehouse comprised of the installation of a destratification system, redecorating the warehouse walls as well has modernising the look to the purlings by painting from yellow to grey. Further improvement to the warehouse was made by applying a new resin floor and installing a new roller shutter door.
The offices have all been redecorated, along with a new suspended ceiling and LED lighting ready for the incoming tenant.
