We recently carried out a large-scale refurbishment for Lasalle Investment Management with Contract Administrator Malcolm Hollis and Architect T.P. Bennetts.
‘Cargo 777’ is a 80,752 square foot modern industrial warehouse unit with offices at Heathrow Airport.
The project was completed over 23-weeks and included the refurbishment of office and warehouse space, that began with a full strip-out of the warehouse, reception, bathroom facilities and offices.
Work on the facility included the full refurbishment of all WC’s, kitchen and the main reception area. Improvements included the installation of mechanical & electrical features throughout; air conditioning to all the office and reception areas; new lighting throughout the entirety of the space and the installation of a new fire alarm system.
The warehouse was fully cleaned and decorated with the application of a new resin floor. All roller shutters overhauled and dock leveller housing replaced.
Work in the office areas included the decoration and finishing of the interior including carpets. The reception areas saw the implementation of new floors and feature walls, tiling, aluminium panelling and concrete wall finishes. Work completed in the kitchen and toilet facilities included a new cubicle system, bespoke joinery cubicle fronts, Corian sinks, feature tiled walls and fully fitted kitchens.
The Pexhurst team also managed the refurbishment of the externals of the warehouse. Improvements consisted of the cleaning and treatment of the roof, repair of external cladding, and the frontage cleaned, relined and landscaped.
