Pexhurst were instructed to carry out the refurbishment of 4 floors totalling 5,959 sq. ft. to this Period office In Throgmorton Avenue, which is a private road with gated access, situated between Angel Court and London Wall.
Various office areas were all upgraded, this included new LED lighting and substantial mechanical overhaul works. The basement works involved the removal of a communications room as well as other improvement works.
This project involved extensive strip out works, as well as the cleaning and reinstatement of existing ceiling and floor panels.
Working on a private avenue with restricted access in a building which was partially occupied meant we had to closely manage tasks with the building management team and tenants to ensure the project caused as little disruption possible.
Overall, there was good communication between the project team, with proactive decisions from the consultant and client ensuring a smooth and successful project was achieved. We also incorporated two extra floors of works within programme which were instructed later during the project.
This project was completed on time and to a high standard - in keeping with the building's prestigious location.
