We were tasked with designing and carrying out a large-scale build refurbishment and fit out works on a 4,000m2 warehouse and two storey 1,000m2 office block.
The objective was to create large open spaces finished to a very high standard throughout for flexible working space, whilst ensuring the site perimeters were completely secured.
The large glass panels and doors along with the subtle changes to the internal lighting and fixtures create a bright and comfortable working environment.
The 16-week project included extensive demolition and excavation and the installation of new pad foundations and structural steel adaptions to the existing internal toilet block, together with completely revised underground drainage services. The new design created a spacious and light washroom space with tiled flooring and large mirror panels which matched the client’s requirements for a modern, bright shower block.
Careful co-ordination and extended working hours were required whilst the Pexhurst team completed the internal finishes and this was due to the extensive use of high quality ceramic tiling to all shower block and reception areas.
Increased site security was achieved with the installation of a new sliding access gate and extensive new mesh fencing terminating at the adjacent Grand Union canal.
