We are delighted to announce that Contracts Manager, Ashley Williams has been shortlisted for the prestigious Rising Star Award at the London Construction Awards.
The Rising Star award celebrates the very best new and aspiring talent in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industries. This category is eligible for any employee working in the built environment for five years or less, who has shown exceptional promise and made a significant impact on the industry. Judges have selected candidates that demonstrate dedication, ambition or supreme achievement.
Ashley Williams has only been working at Pexhurst for two years and ten months, but has progressed from Assistant Site Manager, to Site Manager to Contracts Manager in a remarkably short space of time, demonstrating his work ethic, initiative and dedication.
Ashley joined Pexhurst as an Assistant Site Manager in September 2020 as part of Pexhurst’s comprehensive programme to encourage more youth into the construction industry. His willingness to gain construction industry knowledge and develop new skills and techniques as part of the projects he was involved in saw him quickly grow within the business. As a result, he was promoted to Assistant Site Project Manager in January 2022 and then Site Manager in July 2022. This saw him have complete ownership and responsibility of sites, both with an assistant or on his own. His career at Pexhurst continues to progress following his promotion to Contracts Manager in March 2023. Ashley is looking forward to gaining more experience in the commercial and financial side of running a project.

Taking place on 22nd September 2023, the London Construction Awards is an eagerly awaited construction industry affair. Held at Novotel London West, this event promises to be a celebratory evening filled with entertainment. Guests are looking forward to the black-tie occasion, complete with a drinks reception, three-course dinner and comedy set, culminating in the awards ceremony hosted by internationally acclaimed, multi-award winning comedian Dom Joly.
