After years of using off-the-shelf, third-party software platforms which provided partial solutions to the challenges of managing the flow of information during a project lifecycle, we have taken the plunge and developed our own construction management tool for Pexhurst projects. PexHost is a one-stop solution for construction management and collaboration with the aim of increasing productivity and transparency throughout all stages of a project – ensuring the flow, and just importantly the capture and retention of information is maintained from project instruction to post-completion and beyond.
In an industry where project teams are spread across multiple locations, from office bases to construction sites and on the move, it was vital that PexHost can be accessed safely and securely wherever you are. The platform is compatible across all devices to ensure that everyone can access information, whether that be on a phone, laptop or desktop.
Key features revolve around project tracking and management such as site diaries, Request for Information (RFI), technical submittals, drawings, forms and photos.
Putting all this data in one centralised place means that project teams can access the most up to date information in the click of a button. Not only does this make for better awareness of project progress and easier team collaboration, but it also increases the accuracy of reporting.

Utilising the breadth of knowledge and experience within the business, members of our board of directors, junior board and delivery team have worked closely with a consultant throughout the development process and will continue to do so as the platform continues to evolve. This has allowed us to take a progressive approach to construction management and continue our commitment to the Pro-Innovation strand of our Progressive campaign.
