Congratulations to Accounts Manager Andy Vint for his long-term commitment to the company! To mark this impressive milestone, we caught up with Andy to find out more about his time with us…
1. What made you apply for your job with Pexhurst?
I was keen to get back into the Construction Industry after several years out, and I have always preferred working in a medium sized company where you aren’t just a number – which is generally the case in the larger companies.
2. Do you remember your first day?
In all honesty the day itself is a bit of a blur, but I remember going home that evening feeling like I was going to fit in.
3. What one piece of advice would you give yourself on that first day?
My one piece of advice would be to not stress too much if you don’t understand everything straight away!
4. What’s your favourite part of your job?
There isn’t one specific part of my job that’s my favourite, I just like to keep things running smoothly and efficiently and to be a safe pair of hands for the team around me.
5. What’s your favourite memory from the past 15 years?
There have been many, being recently awarded the 2022 ‘Pexhurst Recognition Award’ being one of them. There have also been many memorable social events which stand out, but I think our annual team away day to Newmarket has to be my favourite, it’s always a great day out!
6. What are you looking forward to next?
In short, I’m looking forward to Pexhurst’s continued growth and success.
